What are the browser requirements for CAPTCHA?

CAPTCHA supports the two most recent versions of the following:

• Desktop (Windows, Linux, Mac)
  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge
• Mobile
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Android native browser (4.0+)

I'm still not seeing the checkbox CAPTCHA widget. What's happening?

If you're not seeing this type of CAPTCHA, it's because your environment doesn't have the features to support the checkbox hCaptcha widget.

• Your browser is old (see minimum browser requirements above).
• Javascript is disabled in your browser.
• Some of your installed plugins conflict with hCaptcha.

CAPTCHA is too hard to read. What can I do?

Don't worry. Some CAPTCHAs are hard. Just click the reload button next to the image to get another one.
